God has blessed me with a new television series on ABC, it's on Tuesday nights @ 9pm, called "The River".
There are nine series regulars and I am number six. I play Emillio Valenzuela, chief engineer on board the S.S. Magus. Some where on the Amazon, my daughter and I keep the engines, the generators, and everything below deck, working. I love you all. May "The River" run for no less than 4 seasons. Thank you Michael Green, Zack Estin, Oren Peli, Steven Speilberg and my ABC/Disney family.

Daniel's feature film credits include in 2008, Bobby Moresco's 'The Kings of Appletown', 'The Things We Carry', & 'Ball Don't Lie'. Others films and noteworthy performances include 'The Mexican' with Brad Pitt, 'The Gene Generation' as Randall opposite Bai Ling, 'Coronado' as Sancho, George Clonney's directorial debute, 'Confessions of A Dangerous Mind', 'Seven' with Morgan Freeman', 'Odd Couple 2' with Walter and Jack, 'Up Close & Personal', 'The Sandlot', 'Tequila Sunrise', Boulevard Nights', & Herzog's, 'Aguirre: The Wrath of God' to name a few.
On television*, he was a series regular starring in Showtime's highly acclaimed 'Resurrection Blvd' as Tio Ruben, the heart and soul of the Santiago Family. He has completed work on 2 ABC pilots in 2009, 'The Prince of Motor City' and David S. Goyer's, 'Fast Forward', the later which has been picked-up and greenlit for 13 episodes. He's guest-starred recently on 'Weeds' and 'Prison Break'. Memorable guest-star appearances include 'Criminal Minds', ' Nip/Tuck', 'Without A Trace','The West Wing', 'Judging Amy', 'Dragnet' , 'NYPD Blue', 'Alias', 'The Practice', 'Star Trek: Voyager', 'JAG', and 'Six Feet Under', to name a few. Made for TV movies include 'Witness Protection' with Forrestt Whitaker and 'Grand Ave.'
In 1998 a recipient of an ALMA (American Latino Media Arts) Award Best Supporting Actor for his role in 'Foto Novelas', a PBS drama directed by Carlos Avila, 'Price Of Glory'.
Daniel is one of the most eclectic character actors working in Hollywood today.

A Day in the Life

Brought home to get ready for the evenings cocktail party with ABC/Disney, Dreamworks Execs., and more interviews.
